I have painted in watercolor most of my art career, until about 8 years ago when I started painting in acrylics. So just now I am refreshing my watercolors. I did this painting from a picture I took of the flowers from our sixtieth anniversary which was two years ago. I wanted to combine soft and hard edges and give he essence of the flowers.
